The events below are from March 2023 and are in order of most recent. They include only some ‘highlights’. You can view other incidents related to loitering, EMS, trespassing, etc. on separate pages where they are logged.

From the Beginning

TRESPASSING / HOME INVASION: In November 2020, a Crossroads client walked into our house as we were bringing in groceries. She appeared very inebriated. Fortunately, the dogs quickly chased her back outside.


Recent Incidents

JUNE 8, 2023 | 5:35AM

Man acting erratic was hanging out on side of house wall. Crossroads employee arrived at work and came to get him after 15-20 minutes.

JUNE 7, 2023 | 3:45PM

Man and woman yelling loudly, kicked off Crossroads property into the neighborhood by security. “They were denied admission because of WARRANTS.”

JUNE 5, 2023 | 8:05AM – 8:25AM

Crossroads client gets dropped off and proceeds to do drugs for more than 15+ minutes. Police were called and showed up after he went back to Crossroads. Police told us “What do you expect. It is a detox facility.” They cant do anything unless they catch him in the act – even though we have security camera footage and pics. Person also hid drugs against wall that Police confiscated.

1 of 2: Man riding bike up and down the back side of Crossroads a few times. Went near trees of neighbors house looking for something suspiciously. When confronted by neighbor, he got aggressive and almost instigated a fight.

Crossroads client comes over to back of the wall. Crouches down on sidewalk and appears to do drugs. She was there about 10 minutes crouched on the sidewalk, looking around and “smoking”

Crossroads compliance officer encourages client(s) / potential client(s) to return to facility. They were ‘hanging out’ in alley between Mitchell Drive and Whitton Drive.

APRIL 28, 2023 | 1:23pm

Crossroads client who appears to be leaving facility gets picked up on back side of wall (not parking lot), then proceeds to “smoke” behind wall before getting in car and leaving.

APRIL 25, 2023 | 8:00am – 8:32am

Man appears sleeping, passed out or dead. Security checked over wall but didn’t see him.

APRIL 24, 2023 | 10:20am – 11:00am

Crossroads client stays on grass behind wall for over 30 minutes until security confronts him and “shoos” him into the neighborhood. Then he sits on the west wall of our home.

APRIL 23, 2023 | 10:21am

Person appears to come from Crossroads and urinates behind wall.

APRIL 14, 2023 | 7:01am

Person parks behind Crossroads wall to vomit 2 or 3 times, turns around and appears to then go into Crossroads parking lot.

APRIL 13, 2023 | 8:47am

Crossroads client or employee gets dropped off behind wall. Sits in car for awhile before walking over to facility.

APRIL 12, 2023 | 7:44am

Crossroads client or employee comes from facility and proceeds to walk down the street around the corner then comes back approximately 3-4 minutes later and returns to facility.

APRIL 8, 2023 | 5:37pm

For almost two hours, a Crossroads client (who was turned away), loitered on the grass. Two homeowners asked him what he was doing and if he could wait at the facility. He stayed where he was. Crossroads was contacted and asked about security. They said someone would come out. Nobody did. Someone called the police – they walked around the parking lot but did not address the person. After almost two hours of waiting and “not knowing what to do.” – a homeowner gave him a cell phone to use to call a ride.

Security confronts a Crossroads client who was walking around the neighborhood and who was “turned away” earlier from the facility.

MARCH 27, 2023 | 8:15am

Crossroads client heard yelling angrily from inside our house (doors and windows closed). He proceeds to sit on curb across from our house, continues to yell and act erratic until a car tries to pick him up. Security intervenes and escorts him back to Crossroads.

MARCH 24, 2023 | 11:37am

Crossroads client walks over to grass space during lunch break and proceeds to “smoke” and then walk back to Crossroads.

Within 20 minutes of my five year old niece going outside to go to school, this woman came over from Crossroads and proceeded to “smoke”.

PUBLIC URINATION: 1 of 2: After one day of no incidents at Crossroads, we pulled into the driveway (w/ my 5 year old niece in the car and looking out the window) – to observe a Crossroads’ client urinating on the wall.

1 of 2: Walked out to go pick up lunch. Observed male coming from Crossroads and getting into a parked car in front of our house. Noticed car had parked around the corner by alley for over 20 minutes (was still parked around corner when returned from picking up lunch).

Two Crossroads’ clients came over to the grass perimeter to smoke during a lunch break. Security guard came over and they said they were “just smoking a blunt.”

1 of 2: Crossroads client dropped off at grass perimeter behind Crossroads facility. Proceeded to walk over to trees and smoke a pipe. Dropped pipe and proceeded to go over to Crossroads (pic below).
